Currently:

73 911S Coupe
86 Targa
87 Carrera Cab (driving it to work, selling
it for a friend, good car if anyone's
interested)
95 540i
98 Toyota 4-runner

They all have their place I guess, my wife drives the 4-runner 'cause she thinks she safer in it. Probably not...

You've got great taste. I own an:

87 Targa - best of the carrera's

95 Range Rover LWB - last of the best RR's ever made and it does go offroad, alot!

01 Ford Taurus - uuuugh - but company pays for it and the gas!

1999 Harley Davidson - for those warm days when I feel like going cruising.

Although lately I've been having thoughts of selling the Harley and picking up a Mini Cooper instead. They should be appearing soon at your local BMW dealership.

For me:

'93 F150 - The beater/parts runner/do anything machine. only 2wd but it has seen a lot of offroad time and it gets used to pull dad's loader and other equip. (I have to drag him out of it kicking and screeming when I need it).

'84 911 Targa - The Machine that makes me show up at work with a smile on my face (it fades by the time I make it to the door).

'84 Mercury Linx - The car that I used to drive to work. The reason that I have a 911 now is that I caught a dodge 3/4 ton pickup broadside in the passenger side. No one was hurt (I was alone in the car). I still have the car, and plan to make a dune buggy frame and install the engine in it. loads of fun.

By the way, can you have to many Porsches?(i think not)

I just accquired my first Porsche, a 914, about a month ago. Everyone at work asks, "What did you sell?" They are implying I could possible part with my '66 Mustang, or my '67 Chevy 4x4...YEAH, RIGHT! I say, "Some women collect shoes...I happen to be more of a gear head than the average blonde!"

I have:

86' 944 turbo, now relegated to my daily driver...this is the only car I am going to keep, and the only car out of 7 I have owned that I actually like (well...the turbo II rx-7 I had was fun too, but it exploded)

90' toyota celica all-trac turbo, a fun car, but I quit my job to go back to college after a 1 year hiatus, and I don't need 3 cars, and can't afford 3 cars...very very rare car though...only 1400 or so in the US

93' VW fox, it was my daily driver for 2 years, but it has convinced me that VW's are POSes (apparently this model is known for being the biggest POS VW), but I have been told otherwise...it is sitting in a junk yard, not running, smashed by a tree falling on it, but it is still registered under my name because it saves me about $500 a year on insurance being my "daily driver" all though it hasn't moved in about a year. Emissions need to be done on it soon, so I will junk it before then.

My lineup:

'84 944 - for fun on the sunny days.
'94 BMW 325i - daily driver.
'84 Ford Ranger 4WD - Deep snow, dump runs, Home Depot runs, all around beater. I have to replace this one, it runs REALLY bad.
Custom open-wheel Formula SAE racer - the current project. it's a really long story. I need to put it back together, and make a few new parts.

I only have a 2 car garage. The truck stays outside (obviously). I wouldn't want all the rust falling off in my garage anyway. The Formula SAE car fits in the front of the garage with the other cars.

...I don't know where you guys keep your cars....but I only have a garage that holds two, and it snows here!!! I have two keep one car at my dads!!

In our family we have the following...

86' 944 : car I wanted when I graduated high school, and was lucky to find a car of the same year I graduated. (Summer Daily Driver)

99 Ford Windstar SEL: THe wives daily, she hauls the kids around in this......one of the fastest mini-vans around....she has been begging for me to finish her project car (89 BMW convertible)

85 Ford F150: Winter daily driver....the only car I have that will start at -30 degrees celcius without being plugged in.

89 BMW convertible (my wifes) project. Have to get the engine back in, re-paint it...and she will be as hot as my wife ...LOL

My two kids who are 5, and 6 love the 944 the most, because as they put it.....it was built for a kid (the back seats)
