Question Liberal Policy?

As everyone knows, PPOT is THE place to be for answers about life, the Universe, and everything. So I have a question that I'm sure you'll be able to answer for me.
Several years ago, in a effort to reduce my dependence on environmentally unfriendly chemicals, I instituted a policy of nekkid-only hot-tubbing. Now, as those of you who own hot-tubs will attest, the use of detergents, fabric softeners and the like on swim wear, causes foaming, and unsightly build-up on surfaces, gumming of jets, and general degradation of water quality. The policy was put in place for purely environmental reasons, for those of you are thinking otherwise, web cams not withstanding.
So, as I'm outside today, doing the obligatory post-holiday season hot-tub scrub and refill, my wife pops her head in and casually states "nekkid only hot-tubbing is a pretty liberal stance for a conservative like you..." and then leaves.
WTF?
Am I succumbing to the other side?
Thanks in advance for your consideration.

If you were truly a conservative, you would outsource the hot-tubbing to a 3rd-world country using an offshort shell company.

To answer your question, we need one other piece of information: How many jets does the tub have?

Nakidity was pioneered by the liberals as everyone knows, but today it has become mainstream. Like the rest of our ideas will, when the rest of you wake up.

That seems to be a common sentiment among "liberals". What most fail to realize is that the pendulum has reached the limit of its travel.

Joe, I was a conservative. (Frankly, we're all fiscal conservatives and at least somewhat social liberals) At any rate, I don't see returning to conservatism. It's not about money. It's about people.

Legion, my pendulum has reached the limit of its travel on numerous occasions, but that's not important now. The POLITICAL pendulum has indeed gone as far as it's going to go........hard right. The next movement you will see won't be the direction you wish.

A heck of a lot better than my F150.

Seriously, I only drive the thing when it needs maintenance and my wife can't take it to the shop. That's about once a year.

Uh, foaming in the hot tub has nothing to do with fabric softener (a mild acid covered up by a nice smell) or detergent (it's gone, or you have a rash wearing your clothes).

The foaming and scum comes from a reaction between the chlorine or bromine and oils from our skin. It's a basic form of soap. It gets really bad on the walls of swimming pools where the girls (and guys) use baby oil, and they don't rinse off before entering the pool.
