Hey,
Any of you guys running with ********** "thermal bypass plug" which they claim is popular in Florida and provides a replacement for the thermostat for ultra cool engine conditions. See my recent post regarding my thermostat.
Thanks,
Scott

Nope, I'm running a stock thermostat here, I seldom have heating problems, except in extreme stop and go traffic

I use Dex-Cool coolant and a couple of bottles of Water Wetter thrown in got good measure.

Thanks Juvat,
I'm thinking that stock thermostat should be ok or why else were these cars designed and built the way they are. I am under the impression that something else must be the culprit if one has to go to extremes with the thermal plug.

i agree with the regular thermo being ok... and, Florida is not as harse as say Arizona... remember, we only have temps maxing in the upper 90s and tiny lil hills here, they have 120 temps and real mountains.... i think you might have a bad radiator like someone else has said, either clogged on the outside or inside or both. BTW Florida peeps... when we gonna hook up and go tooling around here??? I'm all better now and totally up for it.

I'll take ya to the one I got pulled over on in late August when I was passing an Accord on a big sweeping high speed corner as a Deputy approached from the other direction. We had a nice talk and he agreed that it was too nice a day and said he wished he hadda sweet car like that so he could do the same. I was let go without even a warning.. good nature and respect go along long way. My roommate was riding with and was blown away by it... I told him he needs to get that chip off his shoulder in dealing with the law if he wants them to show him the same respect.
