Post OK, I hafta ask. Why do ricers . . .

put giant "POWERED BY HONDA" stickers on their, umm, Hondas?

Isn't that kind of overstating the obvious? What else would a Honda be powered by?

I've seen 3 of them in the last day, and I just gotta know, WHY?

I have no earthly clue as to why, but I have had many a laugh at them. Also have trained the Pathfinders (Church affilicated version of boy scouts) to appreciate fine German machinery (Porsches), and laugh at the ricers

My guess is that the "POWERED BY HONDA" was originally used by the Teggy crowd (Acura Integra), since it is powered by Honda.

But since you know that every sticker on your car adds hp, the Honduh civic crowd figured they can reap the benefits as well.

hmmm... the only one that makes sense to me is the "powered by acura" sticker, on a honda with an "acura" motor in it. (yeah I know it's actually still a honda motor, but still...)

Asking why Ricers do what they do is like asking a dog what his religious beliefs are. They can never give you an answer.
