Multiple Listing Service Question

Does anyone out there have a key to the MLS status symbols:

Two in particular puzzle me: X and W. If you know what these mean, let me know.

I dunno for sure but maybe the "W" stands for withdrawn (from the market)...

It MIGHT mean withdrawn. However in the particular instance I have in mind, the home has been standing empty for over a year. Withdrawn would just mean abandoned. There is nobody renting it and no for sale sign out front anymore.

Depends on your local MLS and what field the code is located. "W" is probably Withdrawn & "X" is Expired. The seller may have withdrawn, but not cancelled the listing, then it expired unsold.

Where are you finding public access to the MLS? That's been a long time coming.
