Any Buckethead fans?
Where do i find his older solo stuff? How much session work has he done that is available? I know hes been around for a while (The 1st time I heard about him was in the late '90s), but Id never really made the effort to see or hear him play until the last year or so when someone gave me some of the Colonel Claypool album to listen to. Never heard anything he did with G N R.
Its been a while since Ive listened to shred stuff and the goofy demented comic book horror show shtick is a little ridiculous, but I honestly don't think Ive ever seen or heard anyone who could do the things this guy can do with a guitar. Here's a vid someone posted on a guitar forum recently. Warning: The puppet show is little disturbing, but the vid is worth watching if you are into Yngwie, Friedman, Becker, Gilbert, Vai, etc.. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3444593949853639826&q=buckethead Last edited by Shuie; 01-10-2006 at 05:54 PM.. |

Damn good guitarist. I have a number of his solo songs that I have downloaded. A co-worker of mine has all of his stuff. At one time I actually found a picture and bio of him out on the web somewhere.

I've never heard any of his stuff but he has written some pretty cool articles for Guitar Player magazine.
