Just watched "Batman Begins". It was by far much better than the previous ones (which were abysmal.)

Yup, Batman Begins was by far better than all before it. Possible exception is the first movie from 89 which was a good movie but apearantly not accurate to the comic. I am looking forward to the continuing story of Begins.

well its not a sequal but The Exorcist III was just as good and even more scary / creepy than the original. But, you had to see the 1st to understand the 3rd. The 2nd Exorcist movie was one of the suck job films that they make raeal quick to ride on the fame of the 1st movie.

Movies where the sequel was as good as the original Unfortunately, very, very few... most of them are made for the money and not to make a better movie.

The Santa Clause 2 was great sequel for a Christmas movie. X-men 2 was quite good if not better than the first movie.

Star Trek 2, although Star trek 1 really sucked.
