Trust me, it's hard enough being married to a woman you love. Enough said.

Been there-didn't do that. Right now I would be quite rich, but very lonely. Not worth it.

If I wasn't attracted to her at all and it was just for money, no. Money's not that important. If I was attracted to her physically and emotionally then I could date her, but the money really wouldn't have any bearing on that.
Money is not that important and neither is what other people think.

When I was in high school, we had a counselor that was like that. Sitting in a desk she was hot, but when she stood up........ I swear to God, her ass was twice as wide as her shoulders. Scary stuff.

Yep, not just 3 strikes, but that second one would count for 2 outs, end of an inning.

Nope, just isn't that important to me. Even with lots of cash and toys I'd be miserable if it was someone that couldn't hold a conversation or was hard to look at.
I'm very happy right now, and even though she's a Bio and Chem major and has the potential to make good money after grad school, I'd rather see her spend more time on her art, since that's a talent that can't really be taught to just anyone.

Nope. the money turns into a noose. You'll never be who you want to be - I know of several who have, and all wound up being unhappy, pathetic lap dogs who don't have a say anything in their relatoionships.
It's really bad when you have kids from a former marriage and try it - the kids wind up ailenated. rjp

that is what i am telling my friends at the office. no way. she was nice as hell, and could party like a rock star..but i thought we were just friends. our mutual friend thought she had it all, personality, niceness, a huge heart...but all that other stuff, was just the deal breaker. me and james (the guy with the miata, for you local guys) still think about what life would be like if i went that way...i hope to call her up one day, soon. i would die if she invested in cosmetic surgery and is all hot now...

This is probably the wrong place to ask. Most of us probably have our own money and prefer it that way. Ask the same question on a civic or subie ricer BBS and you might get a different answer...

By Gosh, that's exactly what I did! It wasn't until days later that I discovered that bank tellers didn't rake in 6 figure incomes...
