I ain't really a sandwich guy anyway...I prefer red meat, rare...I get a little testy if it aint juuuust right.
|
Sorry too, Cool Chick. The demonstrated behavior towards you by some here perhaps explains why many smart, hot, young women prefer the company of older men.
The locker room boys here would smugly say it is all about the money. My observation (and I'm 65) is that the 50+ generation had the good sense to listen to their Moms and knows how to treat a lady. That's what my much younger wife tells me. So grow up boys. Be nice, polite and fix your own sandwich and maybe one for her too--girls seem to like that and you might just get lucky--long term. PS. Don't start that post a picture BS. It ain't gonna happen. Did I remember to mention that she's hot? |

If that's the case, maybe you'd have better luck in a needlepoint forum. IMHO, the women who post here aren't that way. They're not looking to be "picked up" But I could be wrong...sure wouldn't be the first time. As for cool_chick, I certainly won't try to speak for her, but I'd be willing to bet she's not here to be wooed by the homeys. She shows up and dishes it out just like anyone else. She's a big girl and can fend for herself. Whenever she's been offended by something anyone has said to her, she has made that clear and was happy to stand her ground. It's an arena, buddy. We all step into it at our own 'risk' Simple as that. Randy |
Cool Chick,
Watch out for "harmless" old coots like OldSam. They do not have your best interest in mind. More like corney old lines that work with old guys. Or is it just to corney not to be true. |

I still don't understand what that your post has to do with Tech's post here. I don't think it matters what we do in Iraq. Iraq is but a civil war. And whether we pull out of Iraq in 6 months, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years (which is our plan, right?), OBL will make some sort of statement that he has a "victory." The only way he won't claim "victory" is if we make it a 51st state. It's propaganda, pure and simple. Nothing we do will change his "claim" of victory when we pull out. |

Granted, he's kept himself alive for over 4 years, since 9/11...but perhaps his time is coming. Only time will tell. Randy |

And Randy, I'm not your buddy and not trying to pickup chicks. As is often the case, your posts just make up what is not there. Most of the Marines I know have more sense than that. |
Isn't it time for your nap, buddy?
Randy |
And if you'd take just a moment to read what I actually wrote, you would see I made NO direct claim that you were "picking up chicks". I was merely asking the question. Sheesh! Talk about "making up what is not there"!
You need to lighten up, Sam, ol' pal. You're taking this stuff way to seriously! CC doesn't need you to be her knight in shining armor, coming to her rescue. Actually, I think that's more of an insult to her than what I posted. Is she some poor, helpless damsel in distress that needs a man to come to her rescue? I hardly think so. Relax, man, it's all good! :D Randy |

He's going to die of natural causes, after killing so many Americans. And all you can do is defend the incompetent boob that let him get away. Ok, time to blame it on Clinton, Mr. Bush apologist No. 1. Then attack me. Then change the subject from why your hero could not get the job done in four and one half years to something else. I know, call me a traitor because I pointed out that our president is a clueless moron that let a mass murderer go free. |

Read this, I welcome your comments. Randy |
Keep distracting and going back to what Clinton did or did not do in 1996, that's the only way you can "defend" this incompetent idiot running our country. We are being mocked and taunted by a mass murderer, and all you can do is talk about what some other president did ten years ago? Shameful. Shameful and unpatriotic.
Keep with your cult of personality, keep supporting Bush at the expense of your country, those of us that care about America will keep speaking the truth. Read this, and tell me why your hero has not killed this man int he four and one-half years since he COMMITTED MASS MURDER ON OUR SHORES. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1137769911.gif |
The mass murderer is a media mogul, broadcasting messages around the world for over four years, and your hero can't even find him. He can spy on American schoolteachers, he can call his critics traitors, he can smirk like a chimp and lie through his teeth, but he can't get justice for America against the most evil man on the planet.
Shameful |

I'm not distracting anything. If Clinton had done the job HE was sworn to do, 9/11 would never have happened. OBL would have been behind bars and the 3000+ men, women and children that died in the WTC would still be alive today? Heck, we wouldn't have had a reason to go to war with Iraq...

Rodeo....
I think you're mouth breathing... |

On what basis would the US order the capture and detention of Bin Laden at that time? Not to mention offering to capture Bin Laden might have been as likely as our collective attempts to kill him. It's a bit like saying the US Army had tim McVeigh, but 'let him go.' Before 9/11 only one US leader made Bin Laden a priority and sought to destroy him. And it wasn't Dubya. |
I think if you continue to support this chimp, you do your country a great disservice.
