We need more boxing on TV!!!! Don't want to get HBO or SHOW just for the occational boxing match. ESPN2 finally started showing friday night fights again.......
Went to the Blue Horizon this summer to see some live, it rocked! 30 ft from the ring on the upper balcony, looking down on the boxers. Can't wait to go again.

BTW...I play poker with a Boxing Promoter...at one time he was in the top 10 but got sick of the media hype and has since been low profile. He basically says boxing is a dead sport, that if you have atheletic talent you can go into Baseball or Football and make a heap more money than boxing, and U don't get your brains bashed in either. Thats why there aren't any American Heavy weight Champs anymore they are all European. In the South West Boxing is a Mexican Sport. East of the Missisip its Caribbean. If U notice PPV boxing revenues are down and pale against other sports...

If your flavor is the pugilistic, nothing compares to Ultimate Fighting...Mixed martial arts, fast and furious, much more intelligent and strategic...Interesting given the brutality of it.

It seems the most exciting action in boxing these days is in the lighter divisions.
Gatti's a little worse for the wear but overall, I think he's till got it. Even after he beat Mickey Ward - I've from MA.
