Yeah, they won't need the nuclear option. But rest assured, Bill Frist is running for president and he won't hesitate to go nuclear if it becomes required. Listening to John Kerry's insane rant today was just beyond. I can't believe the hissy fit liberals are having over this. Didn't something like 98% of Republicans vote for Bader-Ginsburg?

They clearly don't have the votes to stop him, and he is clearly qualified to a Justice. Sickens me to see these jackasses wasting political capital on this.... Kerry announcing he is going to filibuster......from the lobby of a 5 state ski resort in Switzerland...and I wonder how he lost to Bush?

If Alito was so dangerous and Kennedy/Kerry thinks he needs to be filibustered, why did they announce it so late? Why did they wait until 3-4 Democrats had declared their support and made it obvious that any filibuster would fail? This is pandering, pure and simple.
