then....

Sorry, not the point. The Capitol Police admit it was an error, and I didn't mean to imply that the admin had anything to do with the arrest.

That's my point. The Buch fascist thing was your editorial.
Unnecessary, but you couldn't resist!

Sheehan got EXACTLY what she wanted. It could not have worked out better for her. She is getting EXACTLY the response she knew she would get from the liberal sheep. I love it when a plan comes together.

Precisely...I can't believe this is even a discussion...What should be being discussed is what an attention whore nut-job this woman is, and how her son wouldn't approve of her anti-American behavior.

Actually, it's you guys who keep her in the press. All this attention you give her, all these new posts of the "actions of the day" and "the latest statements" of someone who is irrelevant like Paris Hilton....

You guys lap it up.....

Mulhollanddose 02-02-2006 10:38 AM

Come on chicky...She is playing to the dominantly leftist press. She was made and is currently sustained by them and the Democrat party.

dhoward 02-02-2006 10:38 AM

It's like now you're a stalker or something....

She is being aired because it's determined by what the people of American want to watch. If no one is interested, the media moves on to another story which garners viewers. The media is in business for the money, like all other industries, not some grand conspiracy theory.

Just like Richard Clark, Joe Wilson and John Kerry...she was made by the media, made to harm Bush and elect Democrats.

Sure, just like Frist, Rove, Starr, etc.

Made to harm Clinton and democrats and elect republicans.

The media simply delivers. That's their industry.....they're out to make money, like everyone else. People love that gossipy stuff...it sells.

You're not qualified to render such an opinion.

and how her son wouldn't approve of her anti-American behavior.
Her behavior isn't anti-American in any way. She's engaged in behavior that was a part of the founding this country, dissidence against the government.

You continually attempt to obfuscate the issue by calling the government America, when that profoundly not the case. America is the nation, the federal government was created to do certain tasks for the nation. They are not one and the same.

And never have been.

In fact, your continual assertion that the federal government is America indicates that you're un-American, or stupid. Which is it, M-dose.

The man makes a point Mul

Your turn, how about an answer?

I didn't see a point. The Federal government IS America.

Rodeo 02-02-2006 11:35 AM

Pat, thanks for the incisive question. Mul, thanks for the honest answer.

I learned something today. Although I suspect that your answer is infused with the same relativism as most everything else you say, it does explain a lot.

Just for fun, when you were criticizing policies under the Clinton years, you were being unpatriotic? You were criticizing America?

Yep...Sheehan, Clark, Joe Wilson and Scott Ritter work for the Democrat party, as Frist, Rove and Starr work for the Republican party...It just so happens that the nation's leading news organs are Democrat propaganda machines that at the very least lean left in their reportage...When a Democrat hit piece is constructed it is given a megaphone and a pulpit, despite it being a work of fiction or not...When a Republican hit piece is constructed it gets ignored, despite it being a work of non-fiction.

You will be hard-pressed to find the NYSlimes pushing Republican authors, but they just can't get enough of Democrat authors.

Honest critiques are not the problem. It is seditious malignant lies, wrapped in the cloak of "free speech" and honest debate, that is the problem.

You are mistaking incisive questioning for blinded invective.

Actually that's not true. When a democrat does the things republicans do, it hits the media all the same. When a republican is spinning the usual fiction they are good at doing, it hits the press. Get off the "persecution" complex hysteria now.

Can you substantiate that claim? Does this apply to all newspapers? Do some newspapers support Republican socialist authors and not Democrat authors?

Isn't congress part of the federal government? In light of the postings Mul makes about some members of congress, according to Mul's "definition," Mul is anti-american as well.
