People bring their kids to all kinds of crimes - they make good cover and you have to teach them young.
A guy tried to rob me once after rear ending me, he had his little girl with him - about the same age as the boy. No damage was done so I took off, pretended to go for a gun to get him to back off - plus my sister was screaming POLICE over and over at the top of her lungs.
