What should I do?
Okay, heres the deal. I am trying to sell my Range Rover to fund my first Porsche. RR in question is a 2000 4.6 HSE. Loaded except for Sat nav. Includes optional rubber mats, brush guard, rear light guards, roof rack, and HK sound. Black with tan leather, 67k on the chassis, 20k on the engine- LR replaced the old one because it had a floating camshaft. I bought it certified used, and am the second owner. It has a transferrable factory warranty on it, good through Oct 07 or until 100k miles. Blue book says $20,960. But KBB doesnt estimate the value of a warranty. I owe $22,857 on it. I know I am going to have to take a hit on it- so I would let it go for 21k. Had a few problems early on, all fixed now and it runs great.
Here's the problem. I live in Eastern Oregon- Ford/Chev/Dodge country. Range Rovers are few and far between, hence very little interest locally. Anyone who wants a P38a Range Rover can buy a 96 4.0 SE for about 7k. That makes things even worse. Should I list in on Ebay? Go straight to Cars.com or autotrader.com? I tried the Oregonian, to no avail. I'd hate to trade it in because I would really rather not buy my 911 from a dealer, plus I will get raped. Any suggestions/ideas much appreciated! Thanks in advance, Paul.

Not sure if ebay is the way to go if thats the price you want.
A quick search of completed auctions shows 11 2000 4.6 HSE's. finishing prices from $10,000 thru $18,500. Only one made the reserve price & sold ($17,900). edit- can't get the link to work sorry |

Ubiquity-
I was afraid of that. I thought the warranty might help offset the reliability reputation- plus the fact that it has the 4.6 and has a low-mile engine. Maybe I'll make extra payments, wait until early summer, then see if I can get the 17k out of it that I plan to spend on a 911. Cheers, Paul.
