I love working at night too. It's just me, the car and good tunes. Those late night wrenching hours...more peaceful than sleeping. And sleep comes in the form of power naps under the car...cleaning up and getting ready for bed is a terrible waste of time...just to get up in the morning to get dirty again

I'll post pictures in tomorrow on my Garagimus Maximus (in progess). I love having room to move around! 12X20 of pure garage heaven for moi and my Bastards! And when I need a nap I can go into the 12X12 office/poker lounge for a quick snooze ... now if I can just convince my family that it's normal for me to disappear to the garage for a couple of days w/o coming into the house! Hell, the lounge will be stocked with Guinness and Cheetohs!

Anytime you wanna run.......

lets just say it's far from stock now. (hence it being in the garage, notice the hoist)

David,

that thing on the side there is something called a Slam Man. I found it at a yard sale for $5. It's some sort of an electronic heavy bag for boxers. it's never worked. I use it to hold my helmet, chest protector, etc....

What, your Vespa against my ATV?

Off road, OK. On road, the tires would shake my fillings out.

Yay! I actually have a garage pic now! I just moved into an apartment with a garage...

Stinky in her new home:

It's a small garage, but the Porsche is small, so it works itself out.

Here's my garage, at least what there is of it today. In the foreground you can see a short yellow stake in the gound, then straight above that about 40 feet distant is another stake just like it. That's the front side of the concrete slab that will be poured there. If you stand next to the nearest stake, make a 90 deg. turn, you'll see a third stake about 72 feet away, the line between the two is where the right edge of the slab will be.

As you can see, there's a few things to smooth out before we go much further with the project.

But, there it is, my super humongous garage. In the raw, so to speak.

Here's my latest garage - in a storage facility near my house.

Here's the home garage. Can't wait to get a real house.
