Starting A Transition - Cleaned Out My Office Today
As the title says - went into work today, cleaned out my office. One more week of work left, during which I'll hardly be working - stroll in around 9, say goodbye to some folks, leave by noon. It feels so liberating! I was really ready for a change.
After that, we're off to France and Spain for a month - whee!

so are you retiring or just changing jobs? I tendered my resignation last week as I am retiring. It's a bit weird to think I don't have a career anymore.

Well, if they want my office before Friday, I'm happy to do my remaining work from a sunny table at my local pub using the company laptop. If they want the laptop back before Friday, then I suppose I don't have to do the work.
