First annual track Car paint clinic
Our beloved techweenie has been spending every free moment pushing sand paper on his track car and trying to convince me that I would realize some benifit from painting it for him. Instead of waiting for me to come around to his way of thinking, he and my guy Hector spent Saturday holding their own track car paint clinic.
Even though I was taking the day off I couldn't resist spending a couple hours watching them and sharing in the humor(albeit probably humorous more to myself than anyone else). I thought I'd share a few pictures of the event.   Hard at it and beginning to realize that it's not as easy as we professionals make it look.   It was about this point that it started looking too much like work so I took off to spend some quality time with the S.O. I came back a couple hours later to find some major progress had been made. Hector had the booth prepped, the car masked and was ready to start spraying.   Color of choice was an excellent Mexico Blue.  Like an expectant father waiting at the nursery window.  Lou stopped by with his '72 RS clone. It's hard to imagine that 10 months ago this was an absolute terror of a car. Lou did most of the work himself in his garage at home. Bill can share the details of this beauty as he chooses.  Like moth's to a flame Lou and Bill are drawn to the booth.  Days end finds the boys celebrating their efforts.
