i once bought a raffle ticket to win a bull. i paid my money and THEN found out the critter was still alive. i never hoped and prayed not to win before in my life. i guess i could always set him loose in a field and snipe his ass from afar with a deer rifle. nevertheless, i am glad i didnt win.

as to the quality of meat, the method of slaughter probably makes the biggest difference. We used to grow pigs, chickens for the "experience". If you let the animal get frightened, run around before slaughter it would practicaly ruin its quality and taste. Last edited by snowman; 03-03-2006 at 03:17 PM.. | ||
