Morning, folks. It's capuccino time!

I usually drink my coffee black, but this mornings second cup was a capuccino. Man, I love Sunday mornings! Anybody have a special Sunday morning ritual?

yep, drag-ass out of bed at noon, like today, shake cobwebs, swallow a handful of horse-like pills with juice, make a cup of instant decaf, wander through my empty house to the computer, sit down and log-in to pelican so i don't feel quite so alone. life at 40 feels like..well, life at 40..

oh yeah..it's 'community coffee' if anyone's familiar or makes a difference. i read someone commenting on it a few days back. i don't know if all decaf is created equal, but this stuff's okay if you're not looking to 'wake up'. that 'cap' sure looks good. the decade i spent in maimi we used to drink cuban coffee in little thimbles...STRONG stuff, but good.

Yep, I have over medium eggs and wheat bread while reading the Sunday paper. This goes on for at least a couple of hours.

On saturday and sunday morning, my 2 year old and I make coffee.

She gets the beans and the grinder out of the drawer and we fill it together. We grind the beans, and she holds a couple teddy bears over her ears, because its, "too loud". The last step is the cermonial pushing of the button to turn it on.

Lots of fun.

Espresso, frothed milk, two lumps, in a big saucer of a coffee mug. One for me and one for the wifey. Then start frying bacon for the kids. Almost every Sunday starts this way.

My daily ritual is to wake up take a leak, make sure the door is open so the Dogs can do their business in the yard and not the house and hit the button that turns on the Salvatore.

I usually make one or two Lattes and sip either while I am on the Net or sitting in the Living Room....

Get up at least an hour before everyone else.

One tall screwdriver or Bloody Mary to cut the edge from the night before.

Sportcenter or local news for at least a half hour (to relaxingly consume above). I like to refer to this as 'Daddy Time'.

Make breakfast for the family...try to have it ready just as they wake up.

This morning it was scrambled eggs w/ melted cheddar and a dollup of sour cream w/ whole wheat toast w/ butter and strawberry jams for the kids. Eggs Benadict for the wife and I.

I like tradition.

Beth usually makes breakfast (French toast, eggs, buckwheat pancakes, etc...). We sleep a little later than usual, then off to church...

Rudely waken up by four + two kids, 1-12 years old. Usually around seven am. Breakfast club - what a circus. Get to sit down with a large coffee at around eight am.

Randy, no MILF/GILF for breakfast ?
