Apologies for the double post...but an afterthought here, a photo I took back in 1975. WHY did this cop pick this car out of the caravan of Porsches to pull over? Could the plate have been a factor? The cop didn't say, but Fred got the ticket...65 in a then 55 freeway speed limit.

This could be very true - My ticket was 66mph in a 55mph on the hangover run - Its got to be the green.

Malibu Superior Court Judge granted me Traffic School, got lucky. I did not qualify for traffic school.

I think the custom plate he chose will only allow 6 characters & not the full 7 letters on the standard Ca plates.
