Saddam had connections to al qaeda and other international terrorist groups. Saddam violated international law and the controlling legal authority was in bed with him, making it impossible to bring to justice the murderous tyrant. Saddam had full intents to arm himself and deliver chemical weapons to Israel and the United States. "Sir, the biological is very easy to make. It's so simple that any biologist can make a bottle of germs and drop it into a water tower and kill 100,000. This is not done by a state. No need to accuse a state. An individual can do it." -- Tariq Azziz to Saddam (from recently released tapes) You ever ask yourself why these revelations have been forgotten by the left establishment media?...Sorta like the economy, just gets shoved down the memory hole. |
"Terrorism is coming. I told the Americans a long time before Aug. 2 and told the British as well … that in the future there will be terrorism with weapons of mass destruction." Saddam goes on to say such attacks would be difficult to stop. "In the future, what would prevent a booby-trapped car causing a nuclear explosion in Washington or a germ or a chemical one?" But he adds that Iraq would never do such a thing. "This is coming, this story is coming but not from Iraq."

every war is a justified war to the neo-cons. funny thing is that their first foray (Afganistan to destroy the Taliban and al-Queda) has been left unfinished while Bush's focus is on new wars. Iran is next. North Korea's lucky Bush's attention span is so short. Warmonger in Chief with ADD. Just what America needs.

Jim,
I just wish the US Government understood what it is doing in the Middle East. The clock doesn't have so many sectors or ticks left. You guys (the US) never understand the implications of your acitons. |

About 53% of Americans opposed the invasion of Iraq in '03. But subsequent revelations show that Bush2 was planning to topple Saddam from well before his "election." At various points in time, he, or people speaking for him indicated that the invasion would be quick, simple, inexpensive, not involve bloodshed; etc., etc. Don't think for a minute that any significant number of Americans bought those ideas. |

But Rove would be foaming at the mouth in sync with 'dose. Reminds me of Alice's Restaraunt...
"Came to talk about the draft. They got a building down New York City, it's called Whitehall Street, where you walk in, you get injected, inspected, detected, infected, neglected and selected. I went down to get my physical examination one day, and I walked in, I sat down, got good and drunk the night before, so I looked and felt my best when I went in that morning. `Cause I wanted to look like the all-American kid from New York City, man I wanted, I wanted to feel like the all-, I wanted to be the all American kid from New York, and I walked in, sat down, I was hung down, brung down, hung up, and all kinds o' mean nasty ugly things. And I waked in and sat down and they gave me a piece of paper, said, "Kid, see the phsychiatrist, room 604." And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill, KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me, sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy." |
What the hell was that?

Some older guys feel doing mortar rounds on African poachers is less work and they can still stay in shape. Funny where you can get good tips on what binoculars to buy.
