Subaru Forester trivia
Removing the front grill is supposed to be easy - 4 plastic clips at the top and a few hooks at the bottom. Manual says to use a screw driver. I have poked and twisted the clips with a screwdriver every which way I can think of and they do not come unclipped. Does any one know the secret of doing it without breaking them?
Subaru dealer is 30 miles away- hoping to save myself a drive.

If it's like other Subaru grills, you are actually just pushing down on a release "catch" with the screwdriver. When all the catches release, the grill folds forward and lifts out. Forester may be difference.
