Greek Philosophers knew about the nuisance 2000 years ago.
Was it Socrates, or Plato, who said: "A good cat is a dead cat"?
For every cat run-over, lots of song-birds stay alive.

So, did those scratches ever come out?

I'm taking the car to a pro to have the scratches buffed out. I'll keep everyone posted, meanwhile the cat, his name is Sox, sleeps the day away having spent the night killing small mammals....

jackman,
you mean you haven't taught the cat the virtue of showing respect to other species? what kind of household are you running! ;)

Yeah, us humans REALLY set the tone for "respect of species" with my Cat Carrier and Free Cat uploads!

Actually the jug of antifreeze is pretty cheap and will usually take care of the whole neighbor hood

Cats are very intuitive. They definitely know when they have F**Ked up....

Out all night hunting? That explains why the poor dear is tired; he will miss his grip again, scratching another part of the car.
And, of course, the bad Kharma from all those little spirits needlessly killed means trouble in the future.
Tell Sox to look both ways before crossing the road; it would be sad to see him end up as a flat, furry pancake.
Let us know how well the scratches come out, please.

And it works even better on stupid people. You don't know where I might find a couple around here?

pwd72s 03-24-2006 06:54 PM

Hurt one of MY pussycats, and your dog vanishes....got it?

snowman 03-24-2006 06:59 PM

You all got it all wrong. First you need 2 cats, not one. Next you tie their tails togather and throw them over a clothesline. Let mother nature take its course.

The other course of action is to put them in a bag, add a few rocks, tie the bag shut and throw it in the local river. Two more "good" cats.

Other good solutions involve dogs, but they get pretty messy.

As to the scratches, well after a proper cat solution, you will not have to worry for a second time.

As for the cat lovers, get a dog and a life.

See I like animals, just not cats.

You're a class act, Jack.
