Mercedes Mechanic SF Valley

Does anyone know of a good independent mercedes mechanic in the San Fernando Valley around Sherman Oaks or Studio City? This would be for a friend's 98 500SL.

Thanks!

Not really. The best independent MB wrench in town is in West Hollywood, called Beverly Laurel Mercedes repair. (Or something very close on the name). Owner's name is Shant, he was formerly with the old Hollywood MB dealer which was the factory store.

He is honest and extremely competent, not cheap but competitive w/ any other good shop. I'm sure that there are some good ones in the valley, I just don't know them.

Let me get back to you on this. My parents used to have Benz's and used a mechanic from one of the local dealers (Rusnak in Pasadena?). He'd work on cars at home after hours and on weekends. (He'd ride his motorcycle to our place, then take our car for a couple days.) You'd get factory MB-level care, for much less than dealer rates. Parts for cost. I'll see if my parents still have his phone number.
