I too used to bag on my single buddies for having a my space account. One or two of my more extroverted friends use it as a pickup line. In Houston, my buddy Steve swears he can approach any good looking ~26 yr/old girl and say, "don't I know you from Myspace".

I gave in after a year of listening to "You need to get a myspace profile so I can send you funny ****... music... messages...etc.
I bit the bullet last fall and put one up. Although I intentionally lied on some of the bio specifics. I don't need one of the bad guys I put in jail last month knowing too much about me.

And I got Noah to be gay right along with me.

There was a girl I knew several years ago. I had it bad for her. Real bad. The kind of bad that made you queasy and want to puke. Charlie Brown and the Red haired girl bad. The kind of feeling you get going around a deadly corner way too fast.

"Layla" bad. Not just the one song, the whole damn album.

She never knew, but may have suspected.

She was my muse. I wrote volumes. We lost contact almost ten years ago.

Today, I accidentally found her on Myspace.
