is this strictly a younger crowd thing? Teens and early 20's or has it permeated into the 30's and up crowd? Just wondering, I use it simply to keep in touch with my friends and such. Pretty funny some of the messages you get from people though.

The whole Myspace thing is the AOL chat room of this millenia, with an extra dash of pathetic.

1/2 my office uses it to fufill their sex lives (I'm the old man of the group @ 35. Everyone else is under 28) No joke.

Agreed, my single friends are on it and it keeps them 10-15 years younger mentally if you know what I mean.

HAHA, I havent used it for booty. Prefer the normal meeting someone in person instead of from pictures on the internet. Like I said its strictly for talking $hit to friends and keeping in touch.

If it works for some people than so be it, I fin that approach to dating amusing at the least.

I did throw a profile up there just for giggles. Didn't put anything on it... because I just don't have anything to 'say'. I could chase some a$$. Got some email from some girl claiming to be using her friend's account. Yeah, right. Been hit with that before. Total scam.

Myspace is so addicting. Almost everyone from my school has one. It's fun to see what your other peers are into, so myspace is a really cool site, imho. Here's mine:

I'm 27. I do have a profile, actually had it nearly 3 yrs ago. I don't really use it except to stay in touch with old friends and my little sister.

However, my band's myspace site has been an extremely effective marketing tool. We use it to sell merch, give people a preview of our tunes for booking purposes etc. We do not go around asking for friends, either.

And yeah I have absolutely nailed a bunch of chicks due to myspace. But thats all in the past. ;)

This thread is perfect. I was just breaking some of my friends balls about creating MySpace accounts.

They told me its a great way to keep in contact with friends. I said I own a telephone.

I play a game with my buddies and their accounts called four degrees of separation. You take a pick from their friends, then one of their friends friends, etcc.., etc... then show them what kind of freaks they have in their "friend network". It's good for laughs anyway, try it sometime:)

I can't do it now. That would make me a hypocrite. :D
