Stainless exhaust tips, want them cheap?

I process millions of feet of 304 stainless tube every year. Because of this we often scrap huge amounts of high grade stainless. (1-1/2" diameter to 4" diameter).

Now I wouldn't do rolled or formed ends, just straight cut and clean, even polished. I could offer these at VERY low prices. Would there be any interest?

Throw out a price that might get you interested as I know the prices on tips is all over the map. Heck, if a few of you guys have requests (diameter and length) and I'll send out a few sets for free just for feedback.

I would be interested. I have two outlets on a stock Carrera muffler. Will have to measure to give you length and diameter.

Damn, too late for me. I stopped by Jerry's shop in Battle Creek last Friday and he gave me a GHL exhaust section. Nice, clean edge and looks great. My exhaust is kinda funky but it worked out well. I'll pass the word to others for you, though.

Can you guarantee the parts you sell won't all bend to the right?

Seriously..

For the larger stuff you might consider a visit to a Honda site.

samples

Lendaddy,

Please put me down for any samples your willing to share. If nothing else, they would be perfect for a motorcycle project I'm pulling together.

Larger diameter (2/12 to 4 inch) would be great. I'll gladly get you a check to cover costs/shipping on whatever you can spare.

Thanks,

Vin

I guess I will try 100' of 4" and maybe 200' of 1 3/4" and maybe a couple 10' lengths of 2". I will report back how it all works out!

OK, freebies are all filled up. I'll send them out as we run the material.

Was I on the list for freebie, since I replied first? I need two lengths, each 4" long and 2.74" diameter. Would it be possible to put two little holes at one end of each pipe so I can screw them in place?

Exactly! I have a magnaflow sitting in the garage and I just ordered the gasket between the turbo and the muffler today. Along with tons of other parts from our host here. Suspension stuff. Anyways, the muffler place I talked to said they carry that Ford connection in stock normally. Once I get the tips worked out it'll be time for a dual out on the 930. I had some tips picked out already but never placed the order, then I saw this thread. He's going to hook me up so I'll be patient.

Technically no, but I'll see what I can do, 2-3/4 is kind of an oddball, would 3" work?.

To everyone else, I will send these out as we run the sizes you requested.
