TVR to US shores?

I have a buddy, who has a buddy, who told me that TVR, under the new management, was not just planning but working toward launching in the US Market. Can anybody verify this for me? Im a HUGE TVR nut so this would be good news.

My problem with the TVR, is they've included too many thngs it doesn't need. My brother's experience with a modern british car - and the trips to the service ccenter are not very pleasant. What he spent on the car in a year - would buy a 944. So he sold it - and bought a 944.

If the US TVR's fix that problem - then my "car" savings mmight go that way isntead of a 930 or 993.

Hopefully they've upped their build quality. TVRs have always looked cool, but are about the same quality as a kit car.

It would be great. I can't wait until we get TVRs out on the mid-western roads getting pounded to piece by the potholes. Perhaps watching them fall apart will wipe that smug grin off Clarkson face on Top Gear.
