why today is good, tomorrow is better

according to my bush countdown clock we are going to be in mere triple digit days remaining in our hellish nightmare that is the bush presidency. as of tomorrow only 999 days left!

What if Bush changes the Constitution and runs for a third term?

It is a good feeling and it gets better. I can tell you by looking at ol' Billy Boy's presidential portrait in the paper this morning.

That would be awesome. We could get Clinton back w/ George HW Bush as VP. It would be an absolute slaughter at the polls.

What to do?
Buy one of these, some copper wire and a couple magnets. Wrap yourself in the wire and run your house off the resulting electricity.

I will when I get the chance, Brian. It has always been one of my all-time favorites, I had a new GPz 750 in '84 and wished that I'd bought the 550. They handle like a bicycle.

I bought mine a while ago from a guy in Long Beach that rode it daily in college then parked it in the garage for many years. It's bone stock and unmolested and was running good when parked, but now it's a project for when I get time.

Actually I do have a pic or two on my hard drive, 17k original miles:

In 1984 they wrecked them a little w/ the bigger faring, aesthetics-wise.

I love that instrument panel, it's one of my favorite things on the bike. It's funny, but when the Japanese do something creative, (as opposed to cloning european stuff), it's awesome! That bike represents a very specific moment in my life when it was new, and a specific moment in MC styling. Not copying anything, innovating.
