Clean production and sound.
Player is too mechanical...lacks feel and emotion... not really good at "working the string"...sounds like a guy who practices a lot to a metronome. Also some of his technique is weak even though the picking is clean, he lets some key notes mute out and trail off. Music is more than notes...its about putting emotion in to just the right parts of the music... only seasoned musicians and real talents know this, and know it intuitively. Its similar to the difference between Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans playing the same piece. Oscar is a technical marvel but lacks feel and honesty. Bill is just amazinging all the way around. Other than that, its ok. |

I just bought an M-Audio FastTrack and am going to pick up a Shure SM57 and start goofing around with GarageBand. If you all want to hear some real hack playing, give me a couple of weeks! :>)

Sounds like Stanley Jordan. I've seen a street player in Alexandira pull this stuff off. Pretty impressive.
