I found the back half of a 68 or 69 RS SS here in town a couple years ago. The guy wanted something outragious for it though. http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/...ool_shades.gif

After it rains, take the car cover off the 911 so it will dry out properly! Nice find.

I'm gonna put my Pontiac in there after it's done. Hopefully one of them rich boys wants it...Judging by some of the stuff they let in there, shouldn't be too much of a problem ;)

Then I can build my GN or El Camino next..

Cliffy, if it doesn't have the 302, then you're just taking on a sheep in wolf's clothing, and putting in a lot of work for very little reward. You'll have to explain the badges everywhere you go.

I'd pass if it isn't real.

Super Duper CJ

Now this Baby is a 69 Triple Black Mustang Mach1 R code...428 Super Cobra Jet ...

It features a completley balanced and blueprinted motor...which includes 60 Hours worth of polishing and porting the heads, over sized Stainless valves, Ford Power Parts Roller Rockers, Studded bottom end, Forged Pistons, Mildon Over sized Banked Track oil pan, Orignal 745 Holley, Ford Power Parts hybrid Police Inceptor, Sidewinder Alumimum manifold, Hooker Headers wt 3" inch pipes to the back etc etc...

The suspension is a Global West Competition Setup which inclues Subframe Connectors, Heavy duty Upper and Lower A Arms, Monte Carlo Bar, Export Brace, Heavy Duty Rear Leaf Springs, Front Sway Bar...and if I recall correctly Koni Front Shocks..

Also it has Stainless Steel Brake Corp...4 wheel disc brakes, a 350 Posi Rear End....Auto Trans wt shift kit, oversized trans oil pan and external cooler...Balanced and Blueprinted Power Steering Box. done by Global West... Power Steering oil cooler...

In other words no expense was spared on this car mechanically... it was GROUND UP....

The rest of the car is Stock...except for the Gauge package which is 69 Shelby....the only thing I don't have on this car is the External Oil Cooler that the SCJs had

In 69 the Car magazines touted the Mustang Mach 1 428 CJ as the Super Car for the masses....

Oh BTW...today in Vegas I saw 2 Panateras at a stop light...one is a rare enough sight...

Why not get one of those enclosed car-tents and some racedeck flooring? You're in Kalifornia so you don't need to worry about snow...

...and if you don't want it, please send it to ME! That's the only muscle car I'd ever own!

Appropriately for Vash, the next track is "Taking retards to the zoo"

A few years ago I had a '69 with a 396 BB. Scary fast in a straight line- but really scary stopping and cornering...The only way I would have one today is with new technology braking and suspension added.
