Sweet find, but (1) find out what it really is and (2) find out its value either authentic or as a "clone" muscle car, then (3) compare to restoration value. Check out Sports Car Market magazine, for starters.
You might find that you want to restore it to sell, not to drive. |
Here's a couple pics of a Camaro that a relative is restoring/building for a client.
He is one amazing artist when it comes to cars. He has some restored 50's style Caddy's in various collections around the globe. This is a total custom job and will hopefully be in some hot rod mags when done. For those of you that know these cars, what subtleties do you notice? He explained a lot of them to me a couple months ago, but I wouldn't begin to try and relate those since I know I wouldn't get it right or do it justice.
