Porter Goss resignation

CIA's Porter Goss abruptly resigned today. A liberal friend of mine suggested that there's some underlying reason(s) for this resignation. Read for yourself and see if you think there's merit, or is this another witch hunt against the administration...I'm taking a wait and see attitude while Mul interrogates his neo-con sources. :D

note: the Harpers article "may" be referring to Goss when it talks about someone holding a powerful intelligence post. dunno.

He just sent me one more link to this "story."

I'm not going out on a limb on this one. Mul's got his "source" on speed dial and I heard he's been spotted at Home Depot shopping for chain saws.

The Clintons basically downloaded the liberal virus all over the Justice Department, State Department and CIA, corrupting these organizations beyond repair.

Hmmm, your source must be busy at the tattoo parlor.

From what I understand the NSA leaks compromised the operation to the point he felt useless...that and the Clinton CIA plants were undermining him every step of the way.

Mul-berry doesn't know who Porter Goss is.

JSDSKI 05-05-2006 03:32 PM

This just sounds like classic corruption for government contracts. Probably started in Rome....

Doesn't matter - it's still Clinton's fault.

1846 potato(e) famine... Clinton's fault

If A plane leaves Denver flying west @ 400MPH... Clinton's fault...

I don't need to know who he is. I have an ultra sensitive kneejerk reflex. Interestingly it happens to meet your hindquarters rather consistently. This brings me great happiness.

That's your chin you keep hitting.

Jim Richards 05-05-2006 04:54 PM

See, isn't this fun? :)

nostatic 05-05-2006 05:01 PM

if my name was that silly, I'd resign too...

Jim Richards 05-05-2006 05:08 PM

Negroponte is a funny name, too.

So is Foggo.

And there's Plame.

Is a silly name a requirement for intelligence work?

widebody911 05-05-2006 05:17 PM

All these people were absorbed when the Ministry of Silly Walks was disbanded...

Can I get an amen?...your eyes must have seen the Glory of the coming of the Lord!!

Just when I thought you were hopelessly hellbound. I guess that is what I get for jumping to conclusions.

Jim Richards 05-05-2006 06:37 PM

Now they're all working in the Department of Redundancy Department.

please dismiss my bs soon so the laughs can continue.. thx

first there is the immediate info relating to his situation.

Second is the thought of this breaucratic structure called Homeland Security. Can it function to maximize the efficency of each outlander? Does it create a similar "group think" concerning situations? Does politics gain greater value among these outlanders? etc etc.

What political pressure created this monstrosity to begin with? What were strategic opinion leaders writing and giving "talks" on concerning this?

So short history may show that Goss is a product of HS bs ?
