Rebel Run 07! - the Wildest Ride This Side of the Rockies
In a few short months, the final preparations will be underway for one of the most raucous, down and dirty, winner-take-all, week-long, blow your engine, melt your tires road rally through out the whole South and maybe the entire country!
Enter the REBEL RUN 07! Open class, no holds barred, smoke'm-if-ya-gott'm road rallies that will sure to be the headliner on the nightly news. The rules are simple - fastest time wins. You have your start time. You have the maximum of 5 days to finish but many will finish way before that. You have to hit each city - Dallas, Houston, Laredo, Pecos and Amarillo - pure and simple. You will be given the exact address of each city you must reach then find the quickest route to the next city. You choose the route. You have to hit all five cities. Start in Dallas – Finish in Dallas. FAQs: So what will I win? Can't tell you on-line cuz that would be illegal! What is the entry fee? Can't tell you on-line cuz that would be illegal! Who can enter? Anybody. Are Corvettes allowed? Yes, but be prepared to be laughed at (cuz at the end of the day, it’s still a Chevy!) Does the car have to be street legal? REBEL RUN 07! Assumes no legal position and will not be held liable for a vehicle driven that does not conform to the laws laid out by the Texas Motor Vehicle Department. Can I use a Radar Detector? I would suggest you use 3! Can I carry a rifle or sidearm in my car? You’re in Texas, what do you think? How many people in one car? It’s up to you. When will it be? In 2007. What date? When it is not to hot and not to cool. Is this legal? Hay, it’s the Republic of Texas. We make our own laws!

Fortunately, I caught him at his least grumpiness - after an 'all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet' will do that to a mans disposition.
