Pelican's presidential approval rating!

Someone from this board gave me this idea. Since we all seem to be spread out with politcal beliefs, let's see what the president's approval rating is on pelican parts off topic forum.

I voted and thought I'd bump to the top.

Bump.

Result so far similar to that of Moses thread title. I guess Porsche owner do not differ significantly from people in general. Besides driving a superior car, that is..

Wow that really is amazing, 29.63%, i expected like somewhere close plus or minus 5% or so. But that is almost on the money.

I'm surprised too. I figured more people on this board would be afraid to side with the nutcase extremist left who post here constantly.
I'd bet that if we coupld post the same exact poll on the technical board (which we can't) the results would be different.

Looks like the Prez's numbers are improving slightly here at 33.8%.

You're not "siding with the extremist nutcase left" if you think Bush is doing a *****ty job. You're just choosing not to side with the "extremist nutcase neocons". I won't say "right" because Bush isn't "right". He's somewhere off the map.

Actually, now that so many neocons are turning on him, they're calling Bush 'liberal.' Of course, that's for the same policies they loudly defended just 6-8 months ago.

I voted in this poll based off of how I thought the other candidates would of done comparitively.

The biggest problem bush has created, is in how people are perceived, they associate Bush and everything he does as what those who voted him in expressly beleive. I dissagree with a LOT of what he has done over his finnished first tie, and not yet finnished second term.

Basicly, many assume that as George Bush throws around the word "god" a lot, that he is a perfect example of what a Christian is. he doesn't seem like the ones I know personaly at all, but then, I also dhaven't met Bush Jr. either.

People think Goerge Bush is conservative, I guess that depends on how you view conservative. In my opinion, he isn't. (Nor is he liberal either)

In all fairness, the Repub-controlled Congress and Clinton in the WH made for a more fiscally responsible gov't. It's a bit of a reach to say Clinton alone was responsible, though we'll never know.
