Video iPod and DVDs
My daily commute consists of a 1hr:15min train ride into the city and the same again on the way home. I'm thinking of getting the new Video iPod to help make the time go a bit faster. There isn't a lot of interesting (to me anyway) video content out there just yet so I'm hesitating.
That said, if I could somehow get some of my DVDs collection onto an iPOd, I would buy one in a heartbeat. Anyone know if, and if so, how this might work? |
My co-worker rips DVD's onto his--I'll ask him how he does it tomorrow and get back to you.

Check out AVS VIDEO CONVERTER 4. I use it to convert web/own videos to Ipod format. A DVD is going to be a big file to convert though and its not quick.

You could also get a PSP which cheaper with a much bigger screen. I watch movies on it all the time. You could even access the internet in wifi hot spots.

Not to bring a thread 'back from the dead', but have there been any advancements in the DVD to iPod area? Whats the best freeware currently out there?
