This was touched upon in an episode of Top Gear it creates a wider stance or more impressive look. They were comparing them to a sports car of some sort that brand escapes me now. This pic made me laugh and think of that comparo.

I noticed that Bush trailed off a sentence aggressively with something like

" ....... Iraq's new government has to renegotiate it's relationship with coalition partners. "

maybe he's telling the non believers that there is an economic payback for the good guys and crap for everybody else.

what a sweet way to tell France to go screw themselves.
