The Boys from Brazil

More disintegration of the state:
Quote:
The PCC emerges from the Post account and from its uprising in Sao Paulo as almost a model Fourth Generation organization, operating a network of structures parallel to those of the state that work more effectively than the state’s institutions. As the state retreats into ever-greater corruption and incapacity, the PCC has advanced by filling in the widening gaps. It has now reached the point where it can confront the state directly, while I think it is safe to say that the state cannot defeat much less destroy the PCC.

Compton, California is occupied by criminal gangs that the government in the area have no control over at all.

If you don't believe that, better do more research.

The federal and state prison systems are almost completely in the hands of criminal gangs.

Compton has been overrun with ganas for decades now. Where is the armed gang uprising against the government en masse?

An uprising in brazil has no basis for comparison against a similar uprising occuring in the United States. The National Guard, the US Military, and the average non-gang affiliated armed citizen would never stand for it.

South American governments are very different from the US federal and state governments.

I have seen it first-hand.

Move on to the next crisis Chicken Little.

My mistake. There was an armed gang uprising en masse in the US, it occured in NYC in 1979. Unfortunately, the movement was derailed when the organizational mastermind, Cyruss, was gunned down.

Battles with soccer-styled hooligans, lesbians, roller-skate wearing mimes, lazy-eyed poor people, and ghoulish baseball players ensued untill the climactic show-down on the beach of Coney Island.

cue the Joe Walsh....
