Whoa...
I just googled it. Let us know how you like it. I guess when I want some strong beer I'll continue to buy my Steel Reserve 211 high gravity lager. I thought that kicked your butt at 8.1%.

I like it....it tastes like a nice cognac.
It's full bodied, sweet, and smooth. Considering I'm a big fan of tawny port, it's right up my alley. I'm going to give it a try with an Ashton tomorrow night.

My brother-in-law once brought some Sam Adams Triple Bock by for us to try. It was supposed to be the ultimate conisiour's beer. I said "Beer? Sure why not?" . Now maybe I'm just too German since I don't like stuff in my beer, and I don't like strange beers, I like -- Beer. It should look like beer (light or dark are OK), smell like beer, and taste like beer. Well in my book Triple-Bock failed on all three. It looked like molassis and smelled and tasted like brandy.
Yeuch!!! Give me a Sam's Golden Pilsner or a good Weisse Biere to wash the taste of that out of my mouth. Call me un-refined, but Beer in my book isn't supposed to be some over-proof liquour, it's supposed to be Beer! Rant over... BTW - I love Cloister Ettaller Liquour (Schnapps? Brandy?), which my wife says tastes like cough syrup. Am I wierd or what?

I had something along the same line - Barley Wine at 40 Proof. It was very good but tasted less like beer. I prefered Tawny over Ruby Port as well.
Have you tried Mead? Homemade Mead will make you act like a Viking!

Mead is great! Had some while eating in a Norman castle in Wales when I was there on business. Wonderful stuff! Yes, and then we did start banging the table like Vikings/Normans!

That bottle is amazing!
I wasn't aware they were still even making it - I have several bottles of their triple bock (amazing stuff!) sitting in my cabinet right now and I don't think they're making that anymore either. Way cool. Next time I go to Boston to visit the family I may have to swing by there and pick up one of those. . . When you gonna' crack that open?
