Three civilians murdered by US government to get ZarQawi

I figured this would come out at some point, three people, two recognizable as women, another blown into a red mist wasn't recognizable as other than formerly human.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2089-2220222,00.html

The US government disgusts me every day in it's hubris and inhumanity.

Live with terrorists, die with terrorists. They knew who they were harboring in the house, and deserve to die like dogs. Even worse, they were used to help him get through checkpoints.

Too bad that they were not sent to Gitmo and allowed to rot for a few years, then they can die by their own hand...

I really hope that you make peace with the Lord before you leave this earth. Otherwise its going to tough for you later on in your journey...

Re: Three civilians murdered by US government to get ZarQawi

A 5 pager.......................

Quote:
Once the soldiers had established the man was not a threat, they started to kick him in the chest, said Abbas and an Iraqi policeman also there. “They kept kicking him, shouting, ‘What’s your name?’, but the man only moaned and said nothing,” said Abbas...................The US military’s account differs from the Iraqis in only one important detail. According to a US spokesman, army medics tried to save Zarqawi’s life.

“He attempted to roll off the stretcher, I am told, and get away, realising it was the US military,” Major-General William Caldwell, a spokesman for the coalition forces in Iraq, said. “Everybody re-secured him back onto the stretcher, but he died almost immediately.” .............In the end it was Iraq that turned on him. In recent weeks he had been squeezed out of one safe haunt after another as ordinary Iraqis grew sick of his killing.................Privately British officials also sought to play down the news. “It will probably have less impact than everybody wishes,” said one senior military source.

So no problem with collateral damage if someone from the middle east takes out the mass murder in the White House.

Good to hear you're consistent.

This sends a GREAT message to the Sunni scum/bathists that are enabling the insurgency. Aid and abet the terrorists, and you will DIE! What's wrong with that message?

What about the box they found with nine of the local villagers heads in it the week Zarqawei came to town. I am sure more Iraqi's lives will be saved because he is gone, it is a shame innocents may have died to get him, People in my city died yesterday when someone ran a red light, what can you do..earth is a dangerous place to live and always has been.

Go find someone else to blame, blaming Bush is getting boring, Go back and blame Kennedy and Johnson for Viet Nam, and lets not forget Mei Li.

Why is the an ASSUMPTION by some that the two women found with Zarqawi were "INNOCENT"?

This is the post is absurd.

Regardless of your feelings about the war, this guy was a murdering thug.

Its a shame those people were in the house with him, but its not like they were harboring a petty thief.

I have zero problem with this. Children killed? Damn shame, but its their parents fault for putting them in the the line of fire.

I am just really happy that Zarqawi lived through the bombing to see the US GIs coming for him...and realize what had happened. An instant painless death was too good for him. I hope it hurt like hell.

Yeah, people died to kill him.

Are you so naive to think that any government would not do the same?

The real question is the overall cost of life opposed to the threat.

Dismissing the left-right vitriol that is sure to appear in this thread, the above statement is probably the most correct.

The true question is how guilty or innocent those so-called civilians were. My guess is fairly guilty as the safe house al Zarqawi was in had been under surveillance for weeks.
