While his stance on illegal immigration is commendable, he doesn't seem to bring much else to the table. His entire platform (summarized from his web site) is basically thus:

- The U.S. has some sort of scripture-based "moral obligation" to be Israel's pit bull - ready to do their dirty work on demand
- Against illegal immigration
- Against stem cell research
- Abortion should be a states-rights issue
- More cops, troops, guns, bombs and other stuff like that
- I'm an all-American boy. Rah, rah rah!

While I don't necessarily disagree with his stances on a lot of these issues (although I have problems with a few of 'em) I think a candidate for U.S. Congress needs to bring a little more to the table than he does.

I also think his claim that Roe v. Wade was "wrongly decided" is dangerous ground. In the same way people complain about "renegade judges" legislating from the bench we ought to be wary of "renegade lawmakers" that would seek to interpret laws and pass legal opinions from the floor of Congress. . .

Not bad, but probably not worth my vote.

Wayne probably just got my write-in vote for 2008 with that one.

Do I (finally) get a 911 if you win? C'mon man. Pennies compared to the current kickbacks to Haliburton. All I want is a simple 911.
