...and no floorboards! It doesn't get more old school than that, right down to the Hydramatic.

Looks like fun.

Did you buy that? Things like that go for big money nowadays. Obviously it wasn't put together yesterday. I've seen old original '32's with flatheads in them fetch 50K......ratty.

Now, Franky, that's another story, folks. See it on eBay, I heard.

Look at the license plate... just like someone drug it out of a barn, fired it up and went crusing! Sweet!

The current trend is to take a car and 'age' it to make it look like they just dragged it out of a barn and drove it. I've even seen someone put boxes of crap (old jars, etc) inside for added effect.

Those things are big around here. Most owners don't like the term Rat Rod. They prefer Retro Rod. But Rat usually fits betteer.

So cool !! They remind me of a college (late '60s) room mate's Model A he put together from pieces & parts. To turn on the headlights, he had a house light switch on the dash you had to flip. It had the switch on one side & a plug in next to it. To change high & low beams, there was a house plug on a wire coming out from under the dash & you had to unplug it, turn it 180 degrees & plug it back in. He had all kinds of things like that on the car. It would have been impossible for somebody to steal it & operate it.
