Kevin, I'm not sure what your server is, but giving out the root password is a huge no-no in the UNIX world... May be irrelavent in this case.

I got the error message two btb

I'm new to all this so I expect to make the occasional mistake. The camera I'm installing is a network camera behind a Linksys router. it's my understanding that even if a person were to access the netcam(it allows up to 20 direct access viewers) that my pc which is also on my local network is still "isolated" and protected. Am I wrong on this?
