Having lived on the east coast I wonder what do you do about bugs after dark? The nights we would get eaten alive are not one of my favorite memories!!

Well, compared to some of these guys McMansions my house is meager at best, but, I am raising my kids here, theres no mortgage, and the elementary is school is at the front of my subdivision so my kids walk to school. The principle and a lot of the teachers live here as well its a nice community. So here I stay until a Hurricane tells me otherwise.

Biting insects? There really aren't too many to speak of, at least down around the sound. Higher elevations, and the east side there are some, but where I'm at the spiders are worse than the skeeters.
