American Dogwood...variety is Pink Cherokee. Taken from the second story.

Yep..................here is a picture, from I'm guessing 1967?

I took a digital photo while at the Bentley library while doing research for historic restoration of a building downtown. This is a scan of the mounted picture which was sent to my printer, so the quality is a bit lacking. The arrow points to my office, no A/C in the windows anymore have central cooling now.:)

btw, livi..i've spent a lot of time in the south of france, juan les pins in particular. i was a cultural exchange student back in the mid-80's with a family in reims, france. they had a flat in juan les pins. their son and i who was our age spent two summers together traveling all over france, staying mostly in juan les pins, but going to cannes and nice in the evenings for extracurricular female activities. :)

actually..life didn't suck then! and actually, i need to send you an e-mail to catch up..things have been better lately..along those same lines.. ;)

As it happens, Juan les pins has alway been one of my favorite spots on the Riviera. Spent a lot of nights under the sky on that beach. Doing extracurricular activities.. :D
