Free beer money for anyone in N. Hollywood

$72 can probably buy you a couple of cases, or a lot of it's the cheap stuff There's a catch though...you gotta go get it from this guy:

NEO GATA
11248 OXNARD ST #3
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA 91606
iyaneo@aol.com or
ilovehumbax@ yahoo.com

Back in March I sold a few Nokia 8290 phones on evilbay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9701169677

guy first tells me he's gonna send a m/o, which is cool. A week goes by, then he tells me he'll send paypal, which is even better. I get the payment monday morning, and I go out and ship. Come back, and find out that Paypal put a hold on the money. I email the guy and he tells me that it must be because he's in the process of getting his account verified. Then I notice his ebay screenname is changed (he had 30 positive feedbacks), and a few days later, is no longer a registered user. Then paypal reverses the payment, and I'm pissed. I contact paypal, and they tell me because he didn't have a confirmed address, there's nothing they can do about it. It's not the first time I got burnt, but sure is the first time burnt as a seller. Paypal sucks....to bad there's nothing good out there that can replace it. Anybody up for this? I don't want the money anymore...just want him to learn a lesson

Gata is a Russian name.

With no disrespect to this fine nation, I am not sure I would try to collect "beer money" from a Russian crook in North Hollywood.

So does everyone else in this town. . . Your point?

Although yea - the notion of knocking on someone's door and saying "pay up dirtbag" probably ain't all that smart.

Does one need a point when guns are involved? I think not.

I like the shot with the Panarama mag in the background. Good thing you didn't post his phone number. I'd hate to have the locals calling his apt.at all hours of the day and night.

Jeff, I have no advice here.. If it were me? I'd probably forget about it...Kiss the money good bye. Either that, or I'd go to L.a. and figure out a way to kill the guy, Then let his USSR mafia buddies try to figure out how to find me. The last thing I'd do? Post my problem here. Go thru the system or ignore the system...your choice. For $72, I'd probably forget about it. For $72,000, I'd think really hard about it. For $720,000? He'd be a dead man...

well, I pretty much didn't expect to see it anymore....it's been over two months now, figured I'd post it up to see what people would say, and see if anyone would actually do it

If LA was an hour drive away I would've knocked on his door already

Maybe you could do the deed.
