I'm back to trying to get the shop cam working and need some feedback from RoW.

my webcams just take a pic every 30 seconds and upload it (well, move it to the /web dir). unless you want to control the camera, that's probably the easiest way.

Local IP ...... URL=http://192.168.1.101 .....

Thats exactly what I'm going for but am currently having problems with the camera being able to connect beyond my local network.

This one worked for me.

currently as it's set up I can have 20 people access the camera directly at the IP address 75.17.186.222 or an unlimited number of viewers at the kevinp73.axiscam dot net address. I'll have to see what kind of limitations I have from the phone company. I may have to go to updated still images.

you're better off setting the cam up to post xx sec interval pics to a webserver
then to have folks access your cam direct... that would kill your bandwith everytime any of us is bored and wants to kill the bore by watcing somebody actually work for a living...

For a bit there thought someone had stolen my car and it was in your shop! Except for the impact bumpers thats exactly the way mine looks!

Let me dig into my sent file and find the estimate. It'll take a while as I'm going to paint this fender first.

If you sent one I never received it, course being overseas the last several months did wonders to my email... I was getting ready to take it to Patrick as its been too long since I have driven it on a regular basis.

I thought everyone knew. Kev's camera was removed by a church ladies group after they observed one of Kev's 'Wet Wednesday' color sanding parties.

Some of the girls from the dollar bar down the street came by and showed him proper attire for 'wet sanding'.....

Cam's been off ever since.

Thanks sing, thats a better excuse than what I had made up. Actually the server it feeds through has been down for about a week. Tech support is working on it and hopefully it will be back soon.
