A 1960 isn't an 'antique'

Try sniffing around ebay.

Not to argue but I understood it to be Classic at 20 years, older is considered antique. I would think that a 46 year old car is antique but no matter it's classification.

Thanks

Thom doesn't want to become antique, hence the comment...

Thanks all....Just got a quote from Barrett/Jackson at 5k to 7k for a good daily driver. 10 to 15k on one such as mine.

This is all I needed, a basis in which to start from.

Thanks again!

Was there more than one engine option in '60? That was the first year. I thought they were all straight 6s.

Sorry to bud in on your thread 924Sman, but the manheimgold link didn't have my car.

Any clues as to the value of a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette (first year of C3 style), 4-spd manual, 5.7L (smaller engine, original), 330K miles, hardtop convertible and my dad is the ORIGINAL owner (bought new from a U.S. dealership, still has it and uses it). The car is rust free and has new paint (had all surface rust removed, refiberglassed and painted two years ago with receipts totalling $15K CDN). The car runs well and is completely stock (never modified). The interior could use new carpet but the original seats, radio, etc. are all in good/great condition.
