				"Superman Returns" Movie

Just got back from seeing this and what a spectacular movie IMO. The story was a little slow but really well done and the action was incredible. This is definitely a keeper when it hits DVD. However the movie does leave you with several questions and kind of leaves room for another sequel but who knows. I really liked the opening sequences and especially the use of Marlon Brando's voice as Jor-El again.

Agreed, I just saw it last night and it was awsome. I just might see it again.

I couldn't talk the wife into seeing it at the IMAX theater tonight. She said we should really pick up the kids from the babysitters. I gave in cause it was getting late. But it is on my list of 'to see' movies.

I saw it last night and was more or less disappointed. It started out well enough, and the scenes with the plane were great, as were all the special effects. Casting Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor was a great idea, but he didn't get anything from the writers to showcase his talent as Gene Hackman did. Same for Parker Posey. I was looking forward to her unique spin on things. Ditto for Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. I thought the storyline got ridiculous and boring about midway as well. And the storyline on the boy should have been more developed.

On the plus side, Brandon Routh seemed well cast. He certainly had the right look and captured the dorky mannerisms of Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent and as Superman. But the big curly cue was gay and unnecessary.
