I know there has already been a "Cars" thread, but I just saw Cars last night, and I thought they did a exceptional job rendering Sally. Couldn't take my eyes off of her when she was on the screen.

I thought it was way too long and too uneventful for my little one. Not Disney/Pixar's best work. The racing scenes were cool though.

That movie was kind of retarded. She had the voice of a soccer mom. She should have been an SUV. Couldn't they have gotten Angelina Jolie or Scarlett Johanson to do the voice?

Interesting. There's been some talk about a fundamental flaw with the movie, and the reason it's not doing as well as other Disney/Pixar films.

The flaw is it is marketed only to boys. I didn't "see it" that way, particularly because of the Sally character.

I dunno - do you guys think it was a "boy only" movie?

It did drag a bit but overall I liked as well (wife & daughter too), especially when the alternative movie was Garfield.

I'm waiting for Pirates of the Carribean. Not only does it look entertaining but we get a chance to see Hugh's name in the credits.
